Innovation Transfer Network (ITN)

The purpose of the ITN is to “connect the dots” between private sector companies and the innovation taking place at colleges and universities across the region. By providing outreach, educational services, and networking opportunities, ITN works to increase the rate of technology transfer and commercialization of new products and services.  
A dynamic organization, partnering with the region’s higher educational institutions, private sector companies, economic development, and government, the ITN is designed to promote collaboration, commercialization and the creation of high-tech jobs. The ITN provides companies with a gateway to connect with the region’s colleges and universities to aid in addressing needs such as: new product development, in-depth research, interns as potential employees, as well as product testing and validation.

TechQuest

TechQuest-Internship was developed by leaders from companies, schools and student organizations to make PAID Internships easier, standardized and streamlined so more organizations could easily offer PAID Internships to more students. The Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania hosted these efforts and financially supports the operations of the TQ Internship system. Their number one goal is helping more companies offer more PAID Internships. The TQ Internship Advisory Board developed and deployed the leading-edge Internship system that is a 24/7 web-based tool that coordinates and inner-connects the entire internship process to save companies, schools and students, time, resources and frustration.
